She features hard resin claws for added realism. Nothing comes close to Lolita's soft pads, baby fluff and scratchy little claws to bring home the feeling of snuggling with a real little beast!
"Lolita is very dear to me. When Robert and Nancy Englund decided they wanted to get a WerePup tribute to their dog Lola, I knew that I wanted this baby to be something different. My husband and I always say that Lola brought us together, and it's true - after nearly ten years, I reconnected with Anders on MySpace by clicking on a picture of the gorgeous Malamute/Lab mix and recognizing his name in a comment. If Lola hadn't been such an exceptional beauty, I would not have clicked on that image and saw that familiar name from my early teen years. Sadly, Lola passed away before I traveled out to visit, so I was unable to thank her personally. This WerePup is my tribute to her. Lolita was not only given the colors, but her sculpt was inspired by the real Lola, and the original now resides with Robert, Nancy and heir to the Englund dogthrone, Maizy - a happy, energetic rescue dog. "
